One man using AI to create a better world for humanity.

Work in progress. This is the beginning of a project that is just starting. It is here to give people a view of what the off-ramp to abundance offers, and of the road to abundance. The point is to substantiate what people can look forward to. Not to ask anyone to follow us like pied pipers who claim we have the solution.

Dave Blundin, on Peter Diamandis’s Meet the Mates bonus, did not call AI another Industrial Revolution. He called it a step-change: prehistoric humans, then us, then humanity 2.0.

Hear it from him: Dave Blundin: Who I Am & What I Believe (Meet the Mates bonus), recorded May 4, 2026.

A few of the things he does:

  • Link Ventures backs early technical teams and takes the drag off them, so they can build.
  • The same group owns housing near MIT and Harvard and puts young founders in it, with office space and the back-office load, so their time goes into creating. The Wall Street Journal reported that arrangement on April 3, 2026. He is creating the ability to create.
  • On the XPRIZE Innovation Board, he pushes technology used carefully to change the world for the better.
  • He teaches AI for Impact at MIT.
  • He argues for logging AI, token in and token out, so misuse can be audited.
  • He tells founders the window is short: move about ten times faster.

What they’re selling you is fear. Politicians and some AI lab operators point at the danger and reach for rules. What they are not pointing at is how many ways people benefit when this power is used to build.

That is the same habit that made this country. Take what you’ve got, improve it, and make it work. Don’t destroy it. Don’t regulate it until it can’t move.

Europe is well behind China and America because the habit there is to regulate first. That can feel safe. It is also a ship that stays in the harbor. Safe, and it never goes anywhere.

Moonshots. Work in progress.

Four people on Moonshots with Peter Diamandis. A weekly look at what builders are actually doing. The aim they state is abundance, not a scare.

  • Peter H. Diamandis, MD. Host. Founder of XPRIZE. His longevity work, including Fountain Life, is aimed at adding healthy decades, not at managing decline.
  • Dave Blundin. Link Ventures. The bullets above. Housing for the founders, so they can spend their time and energy creating.
  • Salim Ismail. He organizes companies so they can move faster. Founding executive director of Singularity University, author of Exponential Organizations, chairman of OpenExO, and a general partner at Exponential Venture Capital. He is also on the XPRIZE board.
  • Alexander Wissner-Gross. Computer scientist and co-host. Author of Solve Everything. His work sits where AI meets the physical world.
  • Emad Mostaque. An Englishman who often joins the podcast. He built Stability AI, which makes image and video models, including Stable Diffusion. He appears with these four. He now works on what he calls an intelligent internet, so each person, country, and company can have its own models instead of a few closed labs holding them.

A two-episode series worth making, so people can stay current on what is really happening:

  • Episode one. Are the AI labs selling fear so they can get immunity from liability? This page’s answer is no immunity. Liability is what keeps them from doing foolish things. Take the liability away and that brake is gone.
  • Episode two. Heavy regulation first. This page’s answer is no. It stifles the progress humanity needs, and the progress America needs to stay the leader, or at least tie China. China manages its population on a different plan. Those are not the same game. Europe’s harbor feels safe and goes nowhere.

All-In. Work in progress.

Four friends on All-In. Chamath Palihapitiya, Jason Calacanis, David Sacks, and David Friedberg. Business, technology, and what the tools do to ordinary life. Not a scare show.

  • Chamath Palihapitiya. His public argument is that AI can be the grand equalizer: a genius-level partner next to any person, and a life where capital needed to try something keeps falling. He has also said the upside has to be shared, not left to a handful of winners. Social Capital, the firm he founded, puts money into healthcare, AI, climate, and space. 8090, the AI company he co-founded and now runs, builds and rebuilds software for regulated work: healthcare, insurance, energy, manufacturing, and government.
  • Jason Calacanis. Angel investor and host of This Week in Startups. His piece is getting founders funded and on the record, so the people building are visible, not only the labs selling fear.
  • David Sacks. Partner at Craft Ventures. Earlier, PayPal’s first product leader and COO, then founder of Yammer. Through March 2026 he was the White House AI and crypto czar. He then moved to co-chair of the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology. His public line has been light rules and a pro-build approach, not regulate-first.
  • David Friedberg. The science voice of the four. CEO of The Production Board, a foundry for food, agriculture, and life sciences, and co-founder of Ohalo Genetics. His work is aimed at growing more food and unlocking what nature already does, not at managing decline.

Who to follow. Work in progress.

A short start list. Use it to hear what just happened, not only what someone wants you to fear.

  • Moonshots with Peter Diamandis. The what-just-happened-in-tech-this-week show. Peter, Dave Blundin, Salim Ismail, Alexander Wissner-Gross, and Emad Mostaque when he joins.
  • All-In. Chamath Palihapitiya, Jason Calacanis, David Sacks, and David Friedberg. The business of the tools, and the fight over who gets to set the rules.
  • The Innermost Loop. Alexander Wissner-Gross, most days. A fast read of what just moved.
  • Import AI. Jack Clark, weekly. Research notes from an Anthropic co-founder. A lab voice. Useful, and not the whole story.

Benefits already logged. Work in progress.

This list will keep growing. The ways AI can help people are expanding fast. These are the ones already logged. Not a finished claim. A start.

  • Youth investment start, including Trump Accounts. Accounts aimed at children, so a parent can lock in a start. Even five dollars a month can matter if the parent looks and acts.
  • Direct help. People who want to help fellow Americans do the most good when the money goes straight to the person who benefits, not through handlers who charge heavily to pass it along.
  • Free AI as a citizen tool. Several free plans already exist so an ordinary person can check facts, learn a skill, and build. Several Free AI Plans.
  • Small-business sidekick. A shop owner is in it all day. A capable assistant, at a per-day cost and with no payroll stack, can carry coordination the owner never had staff for. The owner still checks the work, and still presses send.

This page is a reference point. Not a warning that evil people will get you. A look at how people benefit when we implement the power AI gives us properly.

Build toward. Don’t destroy.
